Create a Powerpoint to illustrate a job/career of interest and give 1-5 pieces of information such as: why student is interested in the job/career, what education or training is needed, where one can get the education or training, what the potential earnings are...etc.

TASK 2
Develop a path to a person goal. Using the graphic of a ladder or path, students will list the steps necessary to reach a personal goal. Ladder or path may include: classes or training to be taken and/or other action steps leading to attainment of an individual goal.

Graphic must be completed in class and turned in prior to the student giving the oral presentation.
Goal setting is a process by which learners:
Identify where they currently are.
Identify goals or things they want to accomplish.
Create a step-by-step plan to achieve those goals, with an awareness of how long each step will take.
Periodically reflect on progress toward their goals and adjust their plan and goals as needed.
